Phage

We have done a lot of work on phages and their genomes. Over the years we have developed many tools, and annotated a lot of genomes. Here are some of our posts about phages.

  • You gotta lyse that lysin before the lysin lyses you!
  • Will the real P22 gp7 please stand up?
  • What is the relative biomass of crAssphage in the intestine?
  • Using qudaich to compare metagenomes
  • The reference to number of phages on Earth
  • The Phage Page
  • Submitting a PhiSpy update to pip and conda
  • Press about Global Phylogeography of crAssphage
  • Phages without borders (1)
  • Phages and Mycobacterial virulence
  • Phage tRNA genes
  • phage terminase orientation
  • Phage of the day: Bacteriophage r1t
  • Phage module of the day: Phage DNA packaging
  • Phage Identification
  • Phage Genometrics. I’m only 23 years late!
  • Phage genome annotation for therapeutic phages
